I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, and homeschooled my whole life. I’ve been turning my imagination into creations since I was a toddler, making portraits with my food before I even knew what art really was. Art has always felt natural to me. It became my way of expressing the things I could not always explain.
My work comes from the things I see, feel, remember, and carry. I do not want to force one meaning onto the viewer. I want people to build their own point of view from the work, feel what they feel, question what they question, and connect with it in a way that belongs to them.
